Mangaluru travel questions: Mangaluru day trip to Mudbidri and Karkal

Hello everyone from Mangaluru,

A friend and i are going on vacation in India in february and we really want to experience Mangalore but also the small villages nearby. we came with the idea of doing a day trip from Mangalore to Mudbidri and Karkal because of the temples and history. But sadly i could not find information if there are busses going from Mangaluru to Mudbidri and Karkal. Do you guys maybe know if there are busses going from mangaluru to Mudbidri and Karkal? Do you guys also maybe know if there are english guides at these temples to inform us about the history of these places?
