Don't let these characters' calm demeanor fool you, these guys are \*pissed off,\* and they will wreck you. It could be the precursor to a full on rage, or maybe they're just really good at maintaining calm while angry. Either way, the fury these characters feel makes them dangerous regardless of how they may come off.

Zoe - *Firefly*. At a number of points in the show and finale movie, Zoe will let people know they've crossed the line with a glare and a quiet one-liner, even sending tough guy Jayne running with a simple "You want to leave this room now." But in my mind, her most iconic tranquil fury moment is when >!her husband Wash dies. After taking some time to compose herself, she stands up, approaches the reavers, and fires away, all with that almost blank look on her face.!<

Fenris - *Dragon Age II*. This escaped slave is in a constant state of rage from his traumatic backstory, rage that rarely shows itself except in cases like >!the return of his former master's star pupil.!< One of his personal abilities even alludes to it, Veneer of Calm. His is more likely to break the tranquility if the player character is in rivalry with him, or makes choices that align with mages, who are a main target of his hatred due to his master being a mage.

Cho Hakkai>!/Tenpou!<\- *Saiyuki*. This character is one who always has a smile on his face, but don't let that fool you, Hakkai will never drop the smile on his face as he is blowing your brains out with his chi. In his tragic backstory, his girlfriend>!/sister!< was kidnapped and gangraped by a clan of demons, and Hakkai, a mere human, went in and slaughtered all thousand of them without breaking his eerie calm. >!His past life, the god Tenpou, was also prone to tranquil fury, all the way up until he sacrificed his life for Son Goku.!<
