Suprised by anxiety
Last few days out of no where I've been catastrophising and about things around me that have been around me for years and never bothered me before. My minds absolutely alight to anything stressful at the moment. Don't want to be too dramatic but it's been really consuming mentally.
It's been a few days of this but somehow I only connected today that it is probably related to the chinese research chemicals im injecting in my body with no gp supervision lol.
I was on Tirz for about 9 months last year and I had bits here and there (battled GAD for years so not massively unusual), stopped because of price/some digestion issues.
Been on 3mg the last couple of weeks after about 7 weeks on 1mg then 1.5mg.
Wondering if anyone has felt such a sharp spike in anxiety after upping their dose at all, and how extreme the anxiety has felt? Kinda crazy some people report it disappearing.
I've found a few strategies on here I'm going to try; changing injection site (I always do belly, will try arms), acid reflux medication, reducing/cutting caffeine, and eventually lowering the dose if needed.
I'm loathe give up just yet. I've lost 11kg in a couple of months and seemingly no muscle has gone, I've got at least another 15kg (ideally 25kg) before im in a healthy range but im dreading if this becomes the norm. Maybe it's just a case of tempering expectations and being super careful with upping the dose.
Would love to hear peoples experiences with anxiety on Reta.
Also, as an aside, not sure whether to mention this to my doctor? I know in the US there is issues with insurance but im in the UK and it feels like they should know, but I assume they'd probably just say stop?
