PLANT EXOSOMES — FROM CONCEPT TO EVIDENCE

What happens when plant-derived EVs meet human skin?

For the past 8 posts, we’ve explored the concept of plant-derived extracellular vesicles.

Now, we begin to look at the evidence.

Research on plant-derived EVs, together with cellular and human-use studies of formulations containing them, is beginning to reveal a range of biological activities relevant to skin science.

Among the areas being investigated are:

Inflammatory Response Modulation
Modulation of inflammatory responses associated with skin inflammation.

Oxidative Stress Modulation
Effects associated with cellular responses to oxidative stress.

Skin Barrier Support
Effects associated with functions important for skin barrier integrity.

And this is only part of the picture.

As research advances, other biological activities and applications continue to emerge.

Science first.
Evidence before claims.

Source, process, and characterization matter.
