Difficulty Overtuned
So tried nagash on my usual Very Hard difficulty campaign which i usually play on. Was learning him and was 30 turns in with Arkhan and at war with Repance and Scarbrand. Idk what they did to the difficulty tuning but the AI was straight up getting cheats that go beyond income and recruitment bonuses. Scarbrand with 1 settlement had a full stack of 19 chosen at turn 30. Meanwhile, i'm still at tier 2-3 stuff because nagash has slow progress early because of constant wars and terrible economy. No level of skill can beat 19 chosen with nothing but skeletons, crypt horrors and a few hero units (i was building primarily the counts buildings). It's certainly way harder than it used to be.
Also, even on battle difficulty normal all my anti-large units were getting wrecked by the full stacks of questing and knights of the realm that repanse was able to field, not to mention the insta-level 20 heroes with full items.
Just change it back to what it was and add a "mega-difficulty" option for people who like the AI cheating beyond simply having a bit more income and recruitment.
