new style cons. hire / training

Workplace Question or Advice Needed

hey everyone. to the point i am a new hire at target and i just got out of my first day of training (orientation completed already).

my trainer was good but she was a little vague on helping me understand the tasks in order and what to look for in her shift other than zoning. i am working again 5 times in a row lol and i am a bit nervous. i’ve learned how to pull but i dont quite understand the task management aspect and the order of which to do things first and last. everywhere on social media is scaring me on style and tbf my first day was a little exhausting.

i know there is categories in style for which you just have to worry about. during my training shift, it was pull first and sorting some tier carts onto the floor and then zoning a lot. as of tier carts, i don’t understand the categorizing for that. i did some of it on my own since my trainer sent me out by myself but as for schedule and how to follow things, im confused a bit. for the zebra device, not quite sure how it works exactly and how you know what to pull and how much to pull. i just don’t want to go out on my fifth or sixth shift and not know what to do. for the experienced employees, what do you do first when you clock in typically? and something that is routine that you do every shift?

sorry to overwhelm any reader lol. i dont really use reddit but any help is appreciated! thank you
