DD2:DA requirements

Have we gotten any info on what is needed in order to access the new content when the expansion drops ? I had completed the game back at launch, and started ng+ but I never progressed very far. IIRC the original dark arisen had a progression requirement for 1st go through but was open at the start in ng+. Is it the same for dd2 or are we still left guessing?

Apologies if this has been posted before but I have have been unable to find it.
