There's something kinda special about handjobs. They're so much more intimate and sensual than people tend to give them credit for. An exercise in surrender for the recipient, accepting that their pleasure is quite literally in the hands of someone else. The pleasure is fairly one-sided, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd like to play out a scenario in which a mother provides masturbation assistance to her adult son on a daily basis. He's back home for the summer after his first year of college and it's becoming more and more apparent to her how important masturbation is to his routine. If he falls victim, like so many men these days, to porn addiction it could damage his perceptions of what healthy sex looks like and leave him uninterested in real women outside of his computer screen. On the other hand, he might fall into a pattern of neglecting his masturbation if he becomes too overwhelmed by the stresses of daily life or suffers physical or mental illness. This would be equally disastrous. A man's libido and sexual release are direct indicators of his well-being, and as such a good mother should seek to cultivate healthy masturbation habits in her son, even if she has to do so with her own hands.

She doesn't think of it as sex, just a way to help out and be a good mom. In addition to helping her son regulate his focus and mood, it also provides them with precious bonding experiences that are so few and far between now that he's all grown up and out of the house for three quarters of the year. It allows her to put a stop to the sticky messes he keeps leaving in the bathroom and all over all the laundry - or at least get to them before they become a problem. She can even use it to persuade him to help out around the house a little more or get off his video games and go read a book... if she finds herself inclined towards that type of manipulation.

A big part of what I enjoy about this is the cognitive dissonance involved with convincing themselves the act isn't sexual. Normalizing something taboo, making it wholesome and sweet. So much so that they'd be wrong not to do it. As the taboo becomes casual, they find new scandalous acts to justify to themselves. The catch in this case is that I'd still like for the story to revolve around handjobs and masturbation assistance the entire time.

One way of breaking the ice at the start of this dynamic is by leaning on common tropes like hyperspermia or the infamous double arm injury story reddit is so fond of. Essentially giving the mother a medically justified reason to help her poor, desperate son get his release. However, I'd personally prefer to brainstorm something a little more unique and subtle than that for this, or at least find a creative new way of employing these tropes.

One thing I'm still on the fence about is whether Dad is in the picture or not. There could be an interesting cheating/cuckolding angle there, depending on whether we find it more interesting to sneak about behind his back or do things right in front of him with his (perhaps somewhat begrudging) blessing. If he's not in the picture, I do have a version of this in mind that revolves around the mother and son each going on dates and pursuing their own love lives while their at-home dynamic involves her stroking him to completion every single day. In this scenario, their masturbation sessions would double as a way for them to commiserate and share advice about dating from their unique perspectives and ultimately help each other get laid more often.
