I-140 status update timings for "Notice Explaining USCIS' Actions Was Mailed"
I filed I-140 in EB-1A category with PP (self-filed) with the receipt notice dated Sep 04 2026. I have been constantly checking the status update twice a day (morning ~6 AM and evening ~6 PM). There was an update that says 'On September 24, 2026, we began reviewing your Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, Receipt Number IOExyz. We mailed you a notice informing you of the action we intend to take on your case.'. This update came on the night of Sep 24 itself, which is when I checked it at 6:30 AM. Does USCIS future date the updates and they may have taken the action on Sep 23 but posted on the midnight of Sep 24? It almost seems like USCIS needed more time to process so an automated update was sent out on the night of 13th business day. Has anyone noticed such an abnormal timing of status update in the night? I thought status update would occur during business hours especially if they are dated for the same day for which update is being issued.
