F50 in LTR with M50.

I asked him if he can see a long-term future with me and he said “it’s possible”. He visits me daily after work despite having a crazy schedule and teenager at home. Doesn’t want to get married again (nor do I). He is there for me in so many ways, but for some reason his response bothers me. He also doesn’t plan vacations with me (but does invite me to go with him on excursions). It seems like a lack of future planning. He is also not great about showing/discussing emotion, but his presence and inclusion seems to imply his commitment. Am I thinking about this too much?
