I've been digging around and reading stuff.
Common → Good → Elite → Perfect
Perfect does not mean every stat is maxed. Two Perfect versions of the exact same Aniimo can have different stat distributions, and one can be noticeably better for a particular build. The crowns on individual stats are what indicate that a stat has actually reached its maximum potential.
👑 = maxed; it cannot roll any higher
👍 = recommended/important stat for that Aniimo
👑 + 👍 = ideal — it's an important stat and you've got the maximum potential roll
what nheritdoes:
Aniimo A: ATK has 👑 because it has the max innate ATK roll
Aniimo B: ATK has a mediocre innate roll
Inheriting A → B will not give B that amazing innate ATK roll. B keeps its own innate potential.
That means if you're hunting for your long-term "perfect" Aniimo, the innate rolls/crowns on the newly caught Aniimo matter a lot. Inherit is mainly there so that once you catch a better one, you can move your previous investment into it instead of starting over.
Inherit Rules:
- Different family: Normally, the two Aniimo must belong to the same evolutionary family. They don't have to be the exact same form. Basic Irisalis is a special exception when used as the source.
- It's in your combat/prepared roster: Remove it from your active setup first.
- It's in your exploration roster: This also prevents it from being selected.
- Wrong direction: The trained Aniimo goes on the left/source side, and the Aniimo you want to receive that training goes on the right.
- There's no eligible training difference: Inherit transfers the training package—EXP/level, Resonance, Star Rank, Capability Awakening, etc.
- An Aniimo already selected on one side can't also be selected on the other.
