Weird experience on Mission space

So last night(Last night of my trip sadly lol) Me and my wife were hitting up all the epcot rides one last time and we got to mission space. Now going into it I knew since it wasnt a extended hours night we would not get a shuttle to ourselves, but when we went through the line and got assigned a number our “team” was what looked like two 7 yr olds with no parents anywhere to be seen. We spoke to the cast memeber and went into another loading room so it was fine but just felt really weird to have two grown adults be in a enclosed space with two kids we dont know. Seems like a potential safety issue if this happened with some creep.
