Plot Point of KH3 Rage Form?

I finished playing KH3 + ReMind and kept expecting a plot point to come up regarding Sora/the player’s use of Rage Form. Somehing like Xehanort calling Sora out for the darkness in his heart (lowkey calling out the player for using/relying on Rage Form when playing). But then that never happened and I realized Rage Form was just kinda… there? Just as a game mechanic? Or did I miss something?
