COTA F1 camera policy

I go to COTA several times a year but haven't been to an F1 race there in several years. I've searched the forum about lens size but would like to confirm from those who went last year. I'm planning on taking a Canon R5 II with a 100-500 zoom (8.2" collapsed). Previous comments suggest this combo will be ok. Anyone else get in with a similar kit at the F1 race?
