Parking Fine Reversed

Just had a successful appeal against a parking fine from CitiPark.

Went to event at a large stadium and booked VIP parking in advance. I booked the wrong date! A few weeks later get a £100 fine, reduced to £60 if paid with 14 days, in the post. I check my bank statement and I paid for parking. At this point didn’t realise I booked the wrong date. Asked ChatGPT and it said I had grounds to appeal as I’d not tried to avoid paying. Appeal was rejected as they needed more info. Spoke to a very helpful guy at CitiPark who sent me a screenshot of my booking. Sent this to appeal with an email drafted by ChatGPT containing grounds for appeal. This was rejected but I was given the option to go to arbitration. However, if you do this you lose the option to pay the lower fine. Decided to go straight to arbitration and within 2 days received an email saying appeal successful and nothing to pay. Was a pain to complete but worth it.
