AITA for giving my teenage brother dating advice leading to a girl rejecting him?

Throwaway as I don't want my main to be bombarded.

I'm 20M and currently attending community college. Obviously I'm trying to figure out my own life, but my brother looks up to me as an older brother and college student, so he asks for advice about things.

A few weeks ago he got a girl's number and asked me how to interact with her because he really liked her and wanted advice from someone older.

I gave him advice based on my own experiences and knowledge of dating, saying he shouldn't be so available because girls lose interest when they know they're getting something from him right away. I told him to be nonchalant, sometimes take a day to reply, make her chase him some. I told him to flirt with other girls and make it clear he's not desperate and that he has options. Basically show her that he's a high value man, so he shouldn't come off as him being the only option out there. I also told him not to be too nice as nice guys can make women look the other way. He did this for a few weeks.

And apparently the girl later called him a douche and stopped talking to him.

He's upset because he actually liked her. He came to me and said I gave him terrible advice that literally ruined his chances with her. He called me an asshole trying to make him look like someone he's not.

I told him that's not exactly my problem. If a girl runs away because you're not giving them constant attention, then she probably wasn't that interested in you as a man to begin with. I told him she's likely just a type 4 personality that needs constant reassurance from men. That he shouldn't be chasing women like that.

He was even more mad and I told him that he needs to stop getting attached so easily. There are plenty of girls out there and he'll find a high value woman who doesn't toy around with a bunch of men and actually respects a man that knows his worth.

He called me a "raging virgin asshole" with no girlfriend.

This made me mad because the only reason I don't have a girlfriend right now is because girls at my community college always settle for low value beta males. I'm not going to lower my standards just so I can have a girlfriend.

My brother says I shouldn't give him dating advice anymore because I obviously don't know what I'm talking about. I think his anger is because he doesn't want to hear the truth because he was rejected by a girl. I don't see anything wrong with my advice as it was pretty on point, I've done my research in these matters and subject so I'm a bit of an expert.

AITA?
