Why is it socially acceptable for a woman to hold a grudge against ALL men based off of a bad experience of being hurt by one man, but not acceptable when a man holds a grudge against ALL women based off of a bad experience of being hurt by one woman?
I’ve seen this double standard before and I’m against it. Apparently when women get generalized, people get so defensive and triggered and start crying the word “misogyny“. It’s like people think that women are supposed to be treated as innately innocent until proven guilt or something. I don’t see much of this reaction when men get generalized in the same way. I don’t see people crying “misandry”. This double standard needs to stop.
Either both are acceptable or none of them should be acceptable, not one above the other. If it’s not ok to say “not all men”, it’s shouldn’t be acceptable to say “not all women” either.
