Where to go in Italy

Question — General

I’ve never been to Italy but it’s been my dream, I want to book a trip for my birthday in March. I know Rome is where everyone goes and I’m sure it’s beautiful but crowds make me anxious and sweaty. Lol. (I know there will be crowds everywhere, but the less the better for me) I want to see art and architecture, but I REALLY just want to walk around, eat, drink coffee, and see some beautiful views. I plan on going for one week, with currently no clue where to go. Rome, Milan, Florence? If anyone that has been to several parts of Italy could nudge me in the right direction before I end up booking, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance :)
