07 Corolla struggles to crank only when warm

Question (Serious Replies Only)

180k miles 07 corolla.

Starts fine when engine has been sitting for awhile. If it's warmed up, it struggles to start. Both cranking longer than usual and weaker than usual.

I've tried the turning the key in the ignition trick and the putting foot on pedal trick to see if it's something to do with a fuel pressure leak. Those tricks didn't make it start faster.

I don't know what to do and might just start buying components and putting them on to see what fixes it. Throwing parts at the problem as they say. I'm considering a new starter. I'll definitely be replacing spark plugs aswell, whether theyre the problem or not, I know they haven't been changed in a very long time.

Anyone have this same experience? Anyone have any ideas? All comments are welcome
