Would anyone actually use software I have created that is designed to filter out trigger sounds?

Hi everyone!

I wanted to finally post to this community as I know there are many people in the world that suffer from misophonia, one of them being my girlfriend, and to a lesser extent, me. Before her, I had no idea that misophonia was even a thing, and I always thought my reactions to how the rest of the family ate at the dinner table was just something that everyone has but keeps to themselves internally. However after learning about it deeper I realised how deep the rabbit hole goes, to the point where my girlfriend would refuse to watch certain shows that contain eating scenes within it, even if brown noise or static was playing in the background, and it broke my heart.

I realised that something had to be done, so around a year and a half ago, I put my computer science degree to use and started designing a piece of software that could dynamically filter out desired trigger sounds. This initially started as something I could just develop for my girlfriend, however after consistently researching online (and coming back to this subreddit over and over again) I realised that there was no real solution for every day people suffering from misophonia, and that so many more people than I realised suffer from it. So I decided to pivot a lot more of my spare time towards this project, so that anyone can from any device filter out the sounds that drive them crazy from any smart device they own, such as a phone or laptop.

I wanted to launch this software at the end November, and essentially have maintaining and creating new triggers for my software be my job for a while. Would anyone be interested in this, as I have completed the initial app, however it is still rough around the edges and I think it would still be around 2 months before I would release it for all devices completely and finish up my website etc.

I am still very new to reddit and plan to start posting more about it soon, I just wanted to know everyones thoughts about this :)
