Apartment recommendations?

I'm moving back to the valley this December and wanted to know if y'all had apartment recommendations. I've only ever lived with my parents in the valley, so I never had to deal with the apartments. I have a budget of 1200 or less (that's how much I had to pay in Nebraska), 1 cat and 1 12 lbs dog, no carpet/only in the bedrooms, on-site parking and on-site manager, controlled access if possible. I just at least want a key to enter the building and a key for the unit itself. In Nebraska that's how it is and it's definitely annoying, but it feels safer as a woman during the night. I am hoping to not be over 30 mins from Costco. I'm willing to live in Edinburg, Mission, Palmhurst, McAllen, Pharr, San Juan, Alamo, and Donna... MAYBE Harlingen. I'm having a hard time finding places on apartmentlist and apartments.com, so I thought I'd come here. Anyway, T.I.A!😁
