Why kraken is forcing customers to provide personal information to PERSONA ?

I understand that PERSONA is a startup focused on age verification. These kind of start ups are normally sold to the best bidder sometime in the future. I am unsure of the specific benefit to Kraken and it's customers and who would happily provide personal information to PERSONA considering this.

What is more concerning, is that I have asked Kraken why in their Reddit channels, and the posts have been banned.

Can anyone suggest any reason ?
