Enshitification of Boxcar

Moved here 4 years ago and Boxcar has been my go to coffee shop. It’s where I went to get some work done, read a book, take friends that are visiting, etc.

I’ve noticed over the past year that they’ve made a lot of changes and have raised prices (pretty dramatically on some items). Today I went and got a breakfast sandwich & a cup of coffee. Total came to just under $20 and I was still hungry after finishing it. They changed the egg which was rubbery and the yolk was chalky, took away the prosciutto option, and the bread was extremely dry. The drip coffee I got was stale and lukewarm.

I’ve been noticing prices going up on everything and quality/portion sizes going down and it’s been really disappointing. I used to go a few times a week and now visit maybe a couple times a month to get a cinnamon roll on the weekend. Super disappointed and curious if any other Boxcar fans have noticed a difference?
