Scored 32GB of Corsair DDR5 RAM for $176 (Trade In included)
Like many of you, I've dreaded the current RAM prices and accepted an upgrade likely wouldn't happen until 2030. However, what I didn't factor in, is the price of used DD4 RAM.
I originally built my PC in 2019 to handle 4k editing first, PC gaming second. As much as I fought gaming on my rig, my attempts proved futile as I slowly used this machine to game more and more, totally ignoring its purpose.
Fast-forward today, the 64gb of DDR4 ram I bought are worth $280 in trade in via Newegg. Add that to their "Doorbuster deal" they have today for $419, the total came out to $176 after tax.
Not being a corporate shill here but just letting other people know to not sleep on their DDR4 RAM market price, which could be worth its highest now, with the way things are.
Happy hunting friends!
