Heard a man screaming inside my house

I was 2014 and I was putting my then 2 year old to bed at around 7pm. I was home alone.

As I was laying in his bed I could hear walking around my house so I freaked out and thought someone had broke in. It got louder and like i could hear running in the landing outside my son's bedroom.

I needed to keep my baby safe so I snuck out of his room to see wtf was going on and I heard a man SCREAMING downstairs HELP ME!!! HELP ME!!! HELP ME!!! It echoed through my house upstairs. It was terrifying.

I freaked out so much i RAN to my son's bed and I covered him up with my body incase whatever that was would have to kill me first before getting to my son.

Then it went quiet and there was no one in my house. Nothing had been moved and no doors were opened.

Makes me wonder if some man was stuck between worlds and calling for help.
