Monash Integrated PhD (Management)—chances & interview?
Hi everyone! I’ve applied for the Monash Business School MCom + Integrated PhD in Management and just wanted to get an idea of how the shortlisting works.
Does anyone know what kind of Bachelor’s WAM people who get shortlisted usually have? And is a Master’s generally expected, or do people get in with just a Bachelor’s as well?
I’m also wondering how much previous research experience matters. Would having a research thesis help even if you don’t have any publications?
For reference, I have a BBA with around 75%, an MBA with around 79%, and I did a 20,000-word research thesis during my MBA, but I don’t have any publications.
I’ve already applied, and I’m basically just trying to figure out where I stand. If anyone here has applied, been shortlisted, interviewed, or received an offer before, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience and what your academic background was like.
