All Confirmed Lore About Americas:

Note: This post is meant to serve as a reference whenever someone asks about America, so feel free to link it.

1-America was not colonized by European powers. However, several European nations established trade posts there.

2-These trade posts were established before the Heretics gained naval supremacy.

3-According to the creators, the trade posts were forced to become independent after being cut off from their parent nations.

4-We don’t know how large, powerful, or well-established these trade posts are, nor exactly how they survive without support from Europe. It is presumably a combination of cooperation with Native peoples, local resources, determination, and perhaps divine intervention.

5-It is unclear how much trade continues between European nations and Native peoples, assuming such trade is still possible. The lore states that
Spain is currently only one doing the trade with South America.

6-There are no American nations as such, but Americans still exist. John Browning, for example, is explicitly an American and is also recognized as a saint. Given the lack of European colonization, these isolated trade posts are probably where many European-descended Americans would be concentrated.

7-Both European-descended Americans and Native Americans are currently fighting the Heretics in America.
