No text after being intimate, I’m not sure if I should text?

Finally hooked up after being on a couple of dates. It’s been 5 days and he hasn’t texted me. We left off with him saying we’ll plan something when he comes back (he travels a lot). But he didn’t tell me when he’d come back. Should I text him first? Should I text him asking him if he’s ghosting me? Or him not texting is a clear sign he just wanted to hookup. I feel so used and I’m an emotional wreck rn, sorry idk what to do. This has never happened.
