Questioned about short tenures....

Insane. I interviewed with a small company that just did MASSIVE layoffs in June. Fine they're restructuring and Financials are bad. Total sh*show that was founder led. Okay I'm cool with it. But to be pressed/asked/challenged several times about my short tenures when I've been through 5 layoffs in last 7 jobs is just wild. Tried to just straight face and give them the same PC answer but damn companies are wild with the lack of self awareness.
