relationships are unfair nowadays
I'm 21. I have multiple incomes, I train martial arts, I'm always learning useful skills, and at the same time I'm studying. I'm not saying this to brag, I'm saying it because I'm doing my part. I'm preparing myself to be the man my future wife and kids will need. in my last relationship I was investing in her going on luxury dates, buying luxury gifts, giving my time and energy. That was my job as a man. I didn't want to be just some random guy she knew. I wanted to be the man she remembers. When we broke up for other reasons, I realized I was investing while she gave me nothing back. Like I was just putting in money, time, and energy for a girl I don't even see as the mother of my children. I know my job as a man is to be the provider and the caretaker. I accept that. But it sucks to date a lazy, unproductive woman who can't even cook her own meals while I can do all of that myself. Really, it sucks. And it's not about money. It's about effort. If I'm grinding day and night, the least I expect is a woman who's also trying to be better. Someone who can hold the house when I'm not there. Someone who can raise our kids with values. Someone I can actually count on. So why should I date or even marry when I can't count on her one day when I get sick, or go to jail, or die? What happens to my kids if something happens to me and she can't even handle herself? The same thing is happening to a women who is well educated, well spoken, always learning stuff, while her boyfriend or husband is just hanging around with no competition in his life. No ambition, no goals, no drive. Just existing. And she's stuck carrying everything alone. So both sides are suffering. Men are tired of carrying lazy women, and women are tired of carrying lazy men. Nobody wants to build anymore. Everyone wants to receive. And I'm struggling to have that kind of relationship because I see it as the best way to improve my life while having a future wife by your side. A real partner. Someone who pushes you and you push her. That's the point of marriage. Not just love, but building a life together.
