Tears of the moon not working

I've downloaded installed and tryed to play tears of the moon, but everything is shown is a tiny little screen only with black and white high contrast colors, basically unplayable. Already asked on Steam but nobody asnwered, so im asking here. Can someone help me?

(even tried to screenshot it but it doesn't work either when the game is running. Sound and key imput looks nice since it looks like a "press any key" title menu register the imputs and launches a game file or something)
