I want to be a Tank any Recs?

I want to play an rpg as a Tank/Paladin. I want to be a big guy in a full set of armor tanking hits and swing a big sword. I want there to feel like there's a difference in classes not just aesthetic.

I am considering Baldur's Gate 3 but I would prefer the combat to be more active. I had an old roommate that played Dragon's Dogma a lot which might be closer to what I am looking especially since I have an Xbox One and a laptop that can't run super demanding games.

I would also prefer it to be at most 10-15 years old. I know there are some classics out there, but I don't know if most older games can hold my attention anymore. If you have any recs please let me know.
