Felt like I was being strung along

Recently ended a relationship with a woman I’ve been talking to for months and has been on 5 dates in August. Then in September I couldn’t ever really find time to see her. She has 2 kids who are in middle school and elementary so I get that she is busy. In fact I don’t care if she’s busy and she denies seeing me but something felt off. This is also a king distance relationship, about 2 hour drive.

I noticed now whenever I ask to see her she avoids the question and doesn’t tell me straight up yes or no. She says she doesn’t show a lot of affection and that’s her personality but whenever I text her I miss her or I care about you or like you she doesn’t ever respond or texts about something else. Just a simple “I miss you too “or something would be nice to read. I always say I can come drive to her but that doesn’t really make a difference.

I know she also updated a photo in the app we matched on a few weeks ago. I asked her how she felt about me and she said “I don’t know how I feel “. At the end she said “I’m for wasting your time”.

Just feel so disappointed I tried to believe something was there.
