Lessons I learned after getting scammed, and how I finally found a reliable peptide supplier for my US business

Like many of you, I went through the phase where every supplier looked like a scam. I got burned twice, once with a fake COA, and once with a shipment that sat in customs for a month and got seized.

I wasted a lot of money before I figured out what actually matters. I wanted to share my notes in case it helps anyone else starting a peptide business in the US or UK.

Here is what I now look for:

  1. Shipping speed and route
FedEx is a nightmare for these products right now. The seizure rate is way too high. The only route I trust now is a dedicated line that ships door to door in about 3 days. Anything longer than that, and you're risking both customs and product degradation.

  2. How fresh the inventory is
This is the most underrated factor. If a supplier holds stock for months, the product is already aging. The best factories keep inventory moving in under two weeks. You want to buy from stock that hasn't been sitting around.

  3. The testing method matters
Most people just ask for a COA. But third party reports can be faked, and some domestic Chinese labs are actually much stricter. I learned that the best testing method is to extract samples from the vial cap and inner wall surface, not just the top of the powder. It gives a much more accurate reading. If a supplier doesn't test this way, I don't trust the results.

  4. Price reality check
Don't overpay. For example, BPC-157 10mg, 10 vials per kit, should be around $58 per kit. If someone is charging $90 to $100, you're paying a huge retail markup.

  5. Payment terms and trust
Some suppliers even offer cash on delivery, or allow you to pay after the first order arrives. That builds a lot of trust for a first-time buyer. If a supplier is confident enough to let you receive the goods before paying, that says a lot.

I'm not saying any specific company is perfect, but these are the benchmarks that saved me from more losses. Happy to answer any questions if you're going through the same process.
