Time is not real anyway

General Question/Discussion

I would like to discuss how time is not real and it keeps getting faker. I recently decided that I was going to start being on time. Like synchronous time meaning the time that things are listed to begin I will be there five minutes before that time. I was gonna try to be on time so I did the old “say that things start a half an hour earlier than they start in your calendar” trick and also realizing that I have to say internally that I’m leaving about 30 minutes before I actually need to leave in order to get the departure time right. Last night I had to be at practice at 6 PM so at 5 PM. I told my son that I was leaving to go to practice and by 5:40 PM. I had actually left and I was out the door on the way to practice and I got to practice at 6:02 PM and I was one of the first three people there and nobody was ready and we didn’t do anything for at least 20 to 30 minutes! We talk and they were drinking nonalcoholic beer and I was like this is a huge waste of time! So today it doesn’t work because somehow somehow I’m still 15 minutes late to the gosh darn dog train appointment. When I walk in the girl goes, there’s not enough time to do it. I said I get that. I’m 15 minutes late, but can we just do a 10 minute session or no? She said yes and then proceeds to start to speak to me about administrative tasks. I’m thinking I thought we were rushing to do a 10 minute session but go ahead talk on she finishes what she wanted to say. We start the training session my dog learns two new tricks and gets a chance to practice with distraction because the other dog comes in that’s after us. And I say ok thank you for squeezing us in. We’ll get going and she says no you have two minutes left . And I’m thinking what more could we have accomplished? If I was there for the whole 30 minutes what more would we have done? I was already out of breath and wheezing from just that! All this to say time is not real it’s all about what you make of it. What do y’all think!? no time is realer to me than on a sunny day getting home in time to catch the sunset when it hits my front doorway
