Constantly crashing when trying to perform specific tasks

I'm running 5.2.3 on Linux (Zorin) and I ran into a weird issue when trying to download a magnet link earlier from Nyaa. One specific magnet link when I clicked it would immediately crash my client and nothing short of restarting the computer would get it to open again. I did a fresh reinstall and it kept happening so I picked a different link and everything was working again. But then I tried clicking on the client settings to change my default download folder and it immediately crashed again and wouldn't reopen. I can still download things if that's the only thing I do, but if I try to interact with the settings I have to restart my computer to get the client running again.
