Moving is basically paying for two months at once

Between the security deposit, first month’s rent, movers and all the random stuff you buy for a new place, moving gets (really) expensive!

The rent itself isn’t really the problem but spending so much money within the same week isn't easy for me

My landlord only takes ACH which is fine but this is the one month where I’d rather put rent on a card and give my bank account a couple weeks to recover

Can I do smth about this? I'm kinda young so I would love to hear some advice from people who have already done this before
