Idk what I am, what do you think?
I identify as bi, but i’m a man who is mostly women and I could really take or leave men, it’s not really about sexuality for me. I know I’m not trans, but I enjoy being a feminine, queer presenting man. I kind of hate most things about masculinity, I like my self and the feminine aspects of me but I hate the way people treat me because of it. I never feel respected, mostly when I’m around straight men, but also to a certain extent straight women and some lgbt people but that’s less common. It feels like it always boils down to the fact that I’m not a “traditionally masculine” man and so people just treat me differently. I don’t want to be “traditionally masculine” I like myself the way I am and I just want to be accepted and valued for who I am, and I’ve really only ever felt that around other queer people.
It’s also not that I don’t like men, I kind of just feel meh towards them, but I’m not nearly as attracted to them as I am towards women. I’ve just always liked the term bisexual because, even if it’s maybe not the most accurate, I like the set of assumptions that people tend to make about me based off of it as they tend to match my personality.
So yeah, I think I’m a guy, at least partially, ik I’m not a girl. But I also know I hate conforming masculinity are being expected to conform masculinity. Idk, I’m probably not sis, but I just don’t really know what I am.
P.s.
As a side note, I’m naturally wary of men because you know, the world. So I struggle to be friends with them. But then I make friends with women and I feel like they’re wary of me because I’m a man. Which like I understand that because obviously I feel a similar way around men, but it’s just kind of a really isolating feeling. Has anybody else ever felt like that before?
