Graveyard Keeper 1 crashes after just a minute or two, please help.

As mentioned in the title, I can get the game to run for like 2 minutes, then it crashes and force closes, doesn't even pull up a crash log or anything. Is there something I'm messing up? I'm playing through Steam if that matters, and my PC specs are literally all parts that got released in the past 2 years. Could somone please help me out?
