Need some advice/help — trying to get my first editing clients (Premiere Pro/AE)

Hey everyone, hoping to get some guidance here.
I've been editing for about a year now — mainly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Alight Motion (lyric videos, motion graphics, Reels-style edits). I'm decent at it and have a portfolio built up, but I'm struggling to actually find paying clients. I'm about to start college soon and really want to build some income and real project experience before that happens.
If anyone here has been through this — how did you land your first few clients? Any subs, Discords, or platforms that actually worked for you? Also open to just taking on small/low-budget projects right now to build credibility and get reviews, even if it's not much money.
Portfolio's here if anyone wants to take a look and give feedback too: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1n0AWqzqLD7e3YFwU0LMhnrbrZOPNQOLL?usp=sharing
Any advice, leads, or even just a "here's what I did" would genuinely help. Thanks in advance 🙏
