Hellohello! It's been a while since I posted here, so I thought I'd continue with my BSD Queen concept after a two-three month hiatus.

.

# What is she like, as an authority in BSD?

I personally think she'd retain some aspects of her IRL counterpart: Queen Elizabeth II. She presents herself as the observer, a quiet command, and emotions held firmly in check. She takes her role seriously as the monarch and comes across as strict when it comes to committing to her duties.

.

But that doesn't necessarily mean she can't have a bit of life to her. She, on rare ocassions, would go out of her way to politely poke fun at one of her Royal Guards, or one of her Knights if she ever feels like it. Other than that, I think she'd have that very particular kind of politeness where you can tell she has spent her entire life learning how to make other people feel acknowledged. She can be kind to people without letting them into her life.

.

Everyone has an idea of who she is. Very few know her so much.

.

# What did I preserve, or add into her design of my interpretation?

Since the series left so little information about the Queen, I have a much bigger creative space/freedom to think of however and consider the fewer information already laid down regarding the Queen.

.

I kept her iconic public appearance's silhouette with a bit of tweaking to make it so it wasn't a literal costume. I kept her hat and outfit while making it into her own to seperate from the IRL counterpart.

.

I chose a somewhat light + sky blue with navy blue accents as well as purples, pinks, yellows etc. Idk they're spiritually telling me that they communicate exactly what the design was supposed to give and I have no idea

.

Thank god I didn't use the Union Jack for this whereas the design would've been boring. I instead added the flowers of each neighboring countries scattered across her design: Daffodil on the hat (Wales), Shamrock earrings (Ireland), Tudor Rose brooch near the heart (England), and the Thistle on the front of her heels (Scotland). Reason I did this was to add more flavor, and to subtly signal her connections to the UK as a whole.

.

Also notice how there's a crown on her head in her coronation portrait with Agatha? That crown had actual clock hands, as well as the Lancaster and York roses being placed individually. She has two opposing sides combining into one crown. Plus, the flowers symbolisms are still there, but a little more subtle.

.

# How does she act around the knights?

Lowkey I have no idea and I'm out of brain juice BUT here's my imagination:

**Dame Agatha Christie:** both have mutual respect for eachother, is the most polished and strongest Knight for the Queen

**Dame Barbara Cartland:** hidden affection for her, keeps up the banter with her from time to time, is the most theatrical in Her Majesty's mind

**Sir Salman Rushdie:** is polite to eachother, Salman tends to stray away from interactions with her to focus on his work, unless interrupted with a question regarding analysis and research

**Sir William Golding:** Both don't talk to eachother very much, with William living like an anemic sheltered vampire his whole life. Only talks when necessary

**Sir Terry Pratchett:** one of the Queen's unusual picks for knights, may ocassionally get plagued with Terry's antics/troubles with him accidentally almost breaking the rules of reality

.

# Anyway that's all I can really offer for now

Thank you for taking your time to listen to me yap and yap, I just really like writing and creating fan designs like this :\] very much fun
