A fun tiny thing I may have figured out (or not)
In the NG+ scene for the black key, Melia removes her hood, and Venam looks at her, but doesn't recognise her at all and seems confused. Obviously, this is very strange, and I thought this was perhaps a Venam who never met Melia in her world. But then, I remember when Kaina slashed Venam's arm off back in the Paragon ending of chapter 16. The colour of Kaina's prima blades was orange, and the orange blades erase memories. What if, when Kaina slashed Venam, she erased Melia's memory from her mind? This is the only evidence I have for this "theory" and I know it's not much, but I just had the thought randomly and I wanted to share it.
