causes for repeated evaporator core failure?

HAS ANYONE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS?! I am about to pay for my SECOND evaporator replacement in 14 months! I’ve spent about 6k on my AC since I bought the truck for $20k (all in) 18 months ago.

Repair Hx:
May 2025: AC not working when I test drove. Dealership replaced compressor and lines and flushed/recharged.

June 2025: AC stopped working. Pressure and vaccum check indicate no leak. System flushed and recharged.

July 2025: AC stopped working. Leak is found in evaporator core. Evaporator core gets replaced along with flush and pressure check completed.

sept 2026: AC stops working. Pressure and vaccum check indicate no leak. Flushed and charged. Dye is added with a plan for me to come back within 3 weeks to see if there’s a slow leak somewhere. AC stopped working less than 2 weeks later. On inspection, clear leak in the evaporator core. Part no longer in warranty.

I brought up, is it a faulty part OR is there something else in system causing it to fail. Tech said valid concern but all pressure and vaccum checks are always in range (but WHY is that when there’s a leak big enough to empty the system in less than two weeks??) tech also says ford evap cores are notoriously issue prone

The question is, do I risk another $2500 (cad) to replace the same part and “fix” the same issue again? Or is it going to keep happening??

I financed this truck planning to keep it a while, if I sell it, it would be at a loss. No AC is a dealbreaker as I travel to dog shows with my dog.
