[PC][Late 2000s-Early 2010s] Indie pixelart "metroidvania" game I played on Nitrome and other Browser game websites
This is something I have been wanting to find for years, I spent most of my childhood playing Nitrome games and toher Brsower Platformers, but one was always very enigmatic and weird to me
It was a somewhat simple pixelart style, you went through a huge maze/cavern, I think it had some Metroidvania vibes, you could find random bosses nearly everywhere and there were a bunch of collectibles and items to unlokc new areas if I remember correctly
The major aspect of this game was: There was a cat and a fish, I don't think you played as them, you played as a guy, if I remember correctly, it's actually 2 games, the first one the cat is like your ally, but in the second game your ally is a fish and the cat is the villain I think, I'm not an english speaker and back then I didn't really know english so I can only say what I vaguely remember visually
One weird thing about this game was.. It was REA,LLY difficult to find it on Nitrome, it didn't normally appear in the game list, you had to specifically search for it, and weirdly enough, sometimes it was just not there even when I searched it, at one point it just.. Disappeared, couldn't find it again
I remember finding it in other random sites, but don't remember what sites, I played it a lot back in 2013-2016 I think, I don't remember the exact date I used to play at Nitrome, but it was something around this time for sure
I don't remember any other specifics of the game, but I think one of the bosses was like a giant worm? And one was a bunch of flyign creatures, maybe bats? I really don't know, it's been over a decade since I last played it and even back them I struggles to remember its name
I would REALLY appreciate any help to find it, I looked through Nitrome's game list and even the wiki, couldn't find anything, so I'm unsure if it even was a Nitrome Game to begin with, even though it SHOULD be since I clearly remember playing it there, but my memory might be failing me, again, it's been 10 years
