What the hell?!
Since when does ctrl + backspace delete the WHOLE word?! What do you mean I don’t have to pound backspace like it’s our wedding night? Listen, I took keyboarding classes in high school (I know, I’m old). They taught us cut, copy, and paste. That’s it. I feel cheated.
As a self-proclaimed hotkey enthusiast, my mind has been blown. As a creative procrastinator, I’ll have no choice but to spend more time actually writing.
Seriously, I just checked, and they went full Todd Howard on this shit. It works in Scrivener, Word, Google Docs, and even Obsidian. I tested it in a few browsers, too. Chrome, Firefox, and Edge (for all twelve people still using it). Check, check, and mother-franking check! It even works in Excel. And before you ask about that last one, if you’re not spending half your time in spreadsheets, are you even writing a LitRPG?!
I just have one, really long, run-on question for you:
Do you enjoy irreverence, subversion, tragic comedy, something well-written (according to most reviews), something heavily influenced by Dungeon Crawler Carl? Then have I got the story for you. I can’t promise you won’t be disappointed, but I can promise you will be entertained.
Level One Zombie is a darkly funny, System-forward LitRPG with a delightfully petty anti-hero. It’s about a man trying to save his word. And no, I didn’t misspell world. He just wants to f-bomb with impunity again. You can check out the blurb and reviews here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/146717
And if you already knew about the whole ctrl + backspace thing, maybe swing by and give me some more pointers on the basics of using a computer…
Also, if you’re a writer, feel free to steal any of my 100+ personally crafted, never-repeated call-to-action memes. They start at the end of chapter 12.
