Any advice for dealing with huge death fees while trying to learn bowfa bandos door altar method?

I've been trying to learn it, i have successfully been in sequence and i have about 20 kills total, but ive also died a few times and copped $750k - $1million death fees while wearing full crystal with bowfa.

I just went to deaths office to retrieve my gear because i just dont know enough about god wars dungeon to risk running in there to get it.

How do you guys handle this situation its really putting me off the content.
