34 [M4F] Looking For My “Yes, And” Partner!

Well well well, here we are again. Don’t let the new account fool you, I’ve been here before (at least more than I care to admit publicly). After a lengthy break I figure it’s finally time to get back out there.

You know the story - guy in an okay-ish marriage that’s missing quite a lot at home. What am I looking for? I’m so glad you asked, narrator. Since I’m seeking for more of an emotional connection first, communication and conversation is paramount. I put a lot of thought, curiosity, and intentionality into my messages to an AP. If I don’t see that same energy being returned, I’ll know it isn’t meant to be. Let’s get lost in conversation and see what we can build along the way.

In short, I’m looking for my “Yes, and” partner. This could mean the traditional way (let’s have a goofy, improv-style conversation that runs off the rails quickly). But it also applies in everyday interactions as well - let’s not just be present in each other’s lives, let’s add something positive to it.

Other things to know - historically I’ve had most success with women around my age or older. I’ll eventually want to switch to telegram. I enjoy sending pictures, videos, voice notes, etc. once we’re both comfortable. Prove to me you read the whole post by mentioning your favorite pasta noodle shape in your initial message.
