This is my most recent and largest project. Removed grip tap and graphics (probably the longest part and the most annoying), epoxied and pressed the decks together, sawzalled the nose and tail off, planed it into a block, and then ripped that into strips on the table saw (was concerned about the quality and squareness of cuts cause I had to flip it to cut all the way through).

Then I sanded the strips, glued them down one by one, brad nailing the edge at a 45 like installing wood floors, all the wood trim and plywood is maple to match the veneers, used the remaining strip to make some boxes for storage on top.

Then I copped out of doing anything crazy on the legs and bought sit stand legs. Painted them for a little pizazz and to tie into the colored theme.

Still need to do some final touch ups (flip legs around to not see the leg that wears the paint off and mount the controller).

Let me if yall have and questions or feedback! I believe that was 11 boards. I have three more that I am going to process into individual thin strips and put in between some medium walnut slabs for a coffee table. Also cnced the blocks from the tail and nose into trays and the rounded ones I’m hand carving into bowls with an angle grinder. Will share those as well when I’m done.
