Your experience with pro doms/dommes? As well as bonus questions

Hello there! I'm strongly considering visiting a pro (domme most likely) in the future, and admittedly, the idea makes me very, very nervous. I'd like to hear about others' experiences if they're comfortable sharing. I mostly want to know if it was a pleasant experience or not since I am a little scared of encountering an unpleasant dom. I have never gone to any sort of kink/bdsm event, and I don't have any experience in interacting with anyone in the community.

I know it's not anyone's job to comfort a stranger. And I don't expect anyone to. I just feel hearing like someone say, "I have, and it went fine" would help relieve some anxiety I have :).

My bonus questions (feel free to skip this part):

• Is it normal for people to be extremely nervous during their first session with a dom/domme, or should I try and deal with my anxiety beforehand so I don't put unwanted pressure on them?

• Do doms/dommes usually have a specific way of doing things? Can I say "Hello, this is what I want, and nothing else. Is that alright?"

• Is it generally frowned upon to ask for strictly very soft sessions?

• I don't want to make someone feel like a kink dispenser. Are there recommended ways for me to avoid that?

Again, this is not something I will be doing very soon, I just want to be prepared for the future. Thank you so much to any possible responders.
