I quit cold turkey 3 days ago after near constant use for over 10 years. Feeling basically 0 symptoms. Easier than I thought or not through the woods yet?

How I quit (my story)

Hello everyone, I had been wanting to quit for about a year now and 3 days ago finally threw out all of my nicotine devices including vapes, pouches and lozenges. I started vaping around 2013-2014 with various devices usually around 5/6% pods, heavily smoking through every day. I would be hitting almost constantly throughout the day, in the car, at work, in the bathroom, to go to sleep, waking up 1-2 times overnight to hit, when bored, while gaming etc. Basically never going more than about 30 minutes between. For the last couple months I had began timing myself to only get a few hits in 1 time every hour, to every 2 hours and then just kept trying to space out the time between to longer and longer over a few weeks time. And then a couple weeks ago I met a girl who I have fallen HARD for and earlier this week decided I wanted to be done with nicotine for good before committing to this new relationship. I threw out all of the nicotine in the morning of the first day and it’s now been over 3 days since having any at all. So far, I have had absolutely no symptoms or cravings, or any physical issues. I feel great mentally and now feel like I can really open myself up to this wonderful woman I have been pursuing because I have come to really like her a lot… Am I just not far along enough in the quitting process to have symptoms yet???? I thought with the frequency that I was using, this would have been extremely difficult both mentally and physically, but really I feel better than I have in years these past few days. Was this a bad idea to base this decision off of feelings for another person?? Am I insane??? Regardless, I have 0 plans to ever pick up the habit again and am looking forward to saving money and improving my health overall. Just curious if anyone else has experienced something similar or can provide further insight. Thanks to all here for your quitting stories that have inspired me for a while now!!
